About me
My name is Thierry and I'm currently studying SME Business Management at MCCI Business School. I created kozfinans.mu as a personal project that goes in line with a much deeper ambition towards raising concerns about our consumer behavior in Mauritius.
My Mission
In a world of infinite consumerism, where your attention is studied, priced, and commercialized on every social media platform you use, all while prices rise and our rupee depreciates at an increasing pace year after year, in all this mess, we are required to pay our bills no matter what. It feels like we are loosing as Mauritians.
But how can we tackle this issue in? What are easy, affordable, and practical steps we can take today to make our tomorrow better?
These are questions I have been asking myself since COVID-19, and I have been actively seeking answers through intensive research, trials, and errors. Looking back, I struggled to find those answers on my own. Even though I eventually discovered them, they were often not applicable in Mauritius. At that time, I really wished for a place to go to ask questions and find answers.
I have no magic answers and no online course to sell. I want to build a community of Mauritians who help each other and find ways to dazzle through the challenges of life.
